 Many customers love a round or oval shaped table style for their outdoor dining furniture because it means you can easily add or take away chairs depending on how many guests you have over, but there is no reason why this cannot be done with a rectangle shape as well.

For something timeless, our Classic 11 Piece Teak Rectangle Extending Outdoor Dining Set is very popular and can be ideal for large groups. Do not be deterred by the number of pieces included in the outdoor dining set, these pieces can be purchased separately so that you can select the perfect size and get as many chairs as needed. The 180cm-240cm is the most popular size which is great to seat 8 to 10 people (depending on the chair size), but you could upsize to the 200-300cm table which effectively gives you 3 size options with the one table - 200cm, 250cm and 300cm. The 300cm would fit as many as 14 guests when fully extended. Alternatively, you could downsize to the 140-210cm slim line version for a smaller space which provides the extra benefit of only being 85cm in depth - great for tighter balcony areas. Premium Grade Materials

For our outdoor dining sets, we use one of two premium materials: “A Grade Plantation Teak” and “Reclaimed Teak”. Both types have proven to be excellent in all weather conditions. When researching what type of timber is best recommended for exterior use, you will find that teak ranks at the top. The naturally high oil content found in teak means it is resistant to sun and rain and is therefore a very low maintenance product. It requires little follow up maintenance and oiling is not required.

With sun exposure, teak outdoor dining furniture will weather to a lovely grey hue which can be reversed by pressure hose or a light sand. A colour protector can be used initially if you know you want to maintain the original colouring long-term.
